Raised in the Amish & Mennonite tradition, Del Yoder had an interest in music at a young age and began ministering in his teen years with his family in nursing homes and a local rescue mission. He played the piano and sang and became involved in the local church music program and prison ministry as well.
He entered full time vocational ministry at the age of twenty, traveling with the Gospel Echoes Team Prison Ministry. After 5 years, an opportunity was given to travel with SonRise Ministries in concerts and revivals for a year. In 1991, God opened the door to leading worship and providing special music in crusades, both overseas as well as in America, through Gospel Revival Ministries.
Del married Dawn Murray in April of 1993 and began serving in Fruitport, Michigan as Youth Pastor/
Minister of Music and Lead Pastor. After 15 years, he transitioned into chaplaincy and music therapy with retirees and special needs as well as directing the chapel worship program in a local Christian school.
In 2010, Del returned to the Gospel Echoes Team Prison Ministry and served full-time for an additional 11 years. He is currently serving with Western Michigan Adult/Teen Challenge in Muskegon, Michigan as a staff pastor and Director of music. He resides in Norton Shores, Michigan.
