World Missionary Press is an interdenominational faith-based Christian ministry, producing topical Scripture booklets, Bible studies, New Testaments, and salvation coloring books in 350 languages and growing – for free distribution throughout the world. We are currently producing and sending more than 8 million portions of God’s eternal Word every month, to countries near and far. Members of our staff, along with hundreds of volunteers, are blessed to be part of what God is doing through World Missionary Press—His Word is reaching needy souls throughout the earth; as Isaiah 55 tells us, it will not return void, but will accomplish His purposes!

OFFSET PRINTING PRESS OPERATOR:

World Missionary Press is an interdenominational Christian ministry, focused on producing topical Scripture booklets, Bible studies, and New Testaments in 350 languages for free distribution around the world. Jesus said “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” You can have a part in printing and sending millions of portions of God’s eternal word every month, to souls worldwide!

We are looking for a person to join our team as an Offset Printing Press Assistant, familiar and experienced with offset printing to assist and learn how to run our 6 color ManRoland 300 Press. You will learn on the job and gradually move into being one of our press operators.  We are willing to train the right person who has mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow. Desired printing experience includes:

-General knowledge of multicolor printing;
-Lithographic principles, CMYK registration, use of densitometer;
-Print production, press maintenance.

We are looking for someone with the following traits:

-Quality and production minded;
-Mechanical aptitude;
-Good vision (no astigmatism or color blindness);
-Physically able to lift 40 pounds;
-Detail oriented;
-Willingness to work as a member of the team, desire to learn;
-Flexible, to meet production schedule needs;
-Working knowledge of printing/press related physics, chemistry, and electrical circuits.

This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor with this press.  We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team reaching the world with the Good News! You will be trained by our color press supervisor. Come by for a tour, to see the press in operation!

WEB PRESS OPERATOR/APPRENTICE:

We are looking for an energetic, mechanically-minded, detail-oriented person, to assist our lead pressman on our Robertson-King web printing press. Our web press prints the inside pages of all of our Scripture booklets, Bible studies, and New Testaments. You may also help in running other print shop equipment. Previous experience operating a printing press helpful but not required. Some of the responsibilities include:

-Load paper,
-Change plates,
-Bundle output,
-Clean and maintain press,
-Learn every facet of operating the press.

This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor with this press, with the potential to eventually become a lead pressman.  We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team reaching the world with the Good News!

 

PRINT SHOP PRODUCTION:

World Missionary Press is an interdenominational faith-based Christian ministry, focused on producing topical Scripture booklets, Bible studies, New Testaments, and salvation coloring books in over 345 languages – for free distribution throughout the world. Members of our staff, along with hundreds of volunteers, are blessed to be part of what God is doing through World Missionary Press—His Word is reaching needy souls throughout the earth; as Isaiah 55 tells us, it will not return void, but will accomplish His purposes!

We are looking for an energetic, mechanically-minded, detail-oriented person, to assist in operation of various print shop machines, with primary duties to include:

-Cutting large sheets of booklet covers into smaller-size sheets required by our booklet binderies;
-Operate our folder to fold printed newsletters and brochures;
-Be one of several booklet bindery operators, responsible for learning to run the binderies and oversee groups who help feed materials into the binderies and collect, box, and weigh finished booklets in preparation for shipping.
-Assist in other print shop operations, as needed.

You will be helping produce and send millions of portions of God’s eternal Word to countries around the world every month. We need someone called of God with a good work ethic, ability to learn quickly, mechanical aptitude, who is flexible, and has a desire to learn the printing trade. Must be able to stand for 8 hours, and bend and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Print-shop-related experience is a plus, but not required.

 

FINANCE OFFICE ASSISTANT:

We are looking for a person to join our team as Finance Office Assistant. You will assist in mail handling, credit card processing, file maintenance, and ongoing operation of the Finance Department. Responsibilities include:

-Sort all mail;
-Process the U.S. mail;
-Help process credit card and EFT donations;
-Assist in the continual operation of the department by helping check the daily donation report and helping
prepare letters and receipts, along with any inserts, for mailing;
-Serve as backup for processing letters and receipts on the donor management system;
-Maintain files by filing each day’s reader’s slips by date, after receipts have been generated and reports run, and
purging and shredding files that are over two years old from filing cabinets;
-Maintain donor documentation files.

PARTNER COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE:

We are looking for a person to join our Partner Relations team as a Communications Associate. Our Partner Relations team is forward-focused, with a passion for connecting with our partners “where they’re at.” As part of the team, you will participate in brainstorming and planning sessions for how best to communicate with our partners across all demographics. As our Communications Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

Foundations:

-Research and identify foundations who may be interested in partnering with WMP;
-Create Letters of Intent, project descriptions, progress reports, and other communications to send to foundations;
-Actively manage the Foundation Tracking Spreadsheet.

Partner Relations:

-Call current partners to thank them and pray with them;
-Call new partners to begin building relationships;
-Mail / e-mail periodic notes and cards to selected partners.
-Manage contact notes for each interaction in our Raiser’s Edge database system.

You must be a people-person, have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, and work well as part of a team. Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel, is required.

 

PARTNER RELATIONS STRATEGY SPECIALIST:

We are looking for the right person to join our Partner Relations team as a Strategy Specialist. This position requires a person who is self-motivated, detail-oriented and can work both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities include:

-Coordinating and implementing partner relations strategies to increase awareness of World Missionary Press.
-Assisting with WMP internal communication of strategies and deadlines for special projects.
-Collecting information/tools from different departments that are needed for each project.
-Participating in brainstorming and planning sessions for current and future projects.
-Running demographic reports to better understand our current partner base.
-Analyzing demographic reports to provide information on who/where our greatest potential for partner growth
might be.
-Providing strategies to engage specific demographic age groups.
-Calendarizing current and future events, campaigns, and fundraisers.
-Creating reports that analyze the effectiveness of all Partner Relations activities.

Skills required:

-Applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel.
-Applicant should have a working knowledge of database management.
-Applicant should have formal education/training in fundraising and marketing.
-Applicant should have strong written and oral communications skills.

PRAYER MOBILIZATION COORDINATOR:

We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Prayer Mobilization Coordinator. This position requires a person who is passionate about prayer, self-motivated, a good communicator, and can work both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities include:

-Writing monthly Prayer and Praise letters to send to our prayer team partners – both through the postal service
and through e-mail.
-Planning, scheduling, and promoting prayer events in our Prayer Center.
-Communicating urgent prayer requests with partners as needed.
-Periodically lead daily chapel and bi-monthly hour of power prayer times for staff and volunteers.
-Assist in writing articles and prayer points for monthly newsletters and other publications.

Skills required:

-Strong personal prayer life;
-Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Excel;
-Working knowledge of database management and scheduling programs;
-Familiarity with InDesign would be a plus;
-Strong written and oral communications skills.
