EVERY SHIPMENT IS A MIRACLE
“God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” –2 Corinthians 9:8
Fifty-three million people live in the seven countries comprising Central America. Each country is unique, but all share similar problems of poverty, drug abuse, gang violence, government restrictions, and people movements. Praise God, however, His Word is impacting these countries. More than 4.7 million WMP Scripture booklets, Bible studies, and coloring books were sent to waiting distributors in 2023.
One Central American distributor shared, “Every shipment is a miracle. When I observe the look on the faces of people who see a container arrive for the first time – and they know it’s good material and free – they are just so grateful.” Only God can provide all that is needed to offer His Word to the world.
A group from the western highlands of Guatemala came to the WMP distribution point for the first time searching for Christian children’s material. They were preparing for a gift distribution to 7,000 children, but they had no children’s material to put in the packages. T.J., the WMP distributor, “just happened” to have some God Loves You! coloring books he was saving for the “right ministry and the right people.” After showing them the coloring books, they were very excited. When they asked the cost and learned it was free, they were astonished. The real praise began when the amount of coloring books needed matched perfectly the amount on hand in the warehouse. “I see it over and over,” T.J. remarked. “The right material, in the right amount, at the right time, to the right people.”
When Nelson was a child, he hung with the wrong crowd. One day someone gave him a Scripture coloring book. He still remembers the verses and the pictures. His testimony is, “I was saved through that coloring book.” Today he distributes WMP booklets in Guatemala.
WMP coordinator Cristobal Y. is “convinced that it is the Word of God that converts a soul and brings them to the feet of Jesus Christ. This is what causes us to strive to put a portion of God’s Word in the hand of every person in the country of Panama. This past year, we have been able to distribute hundreds of boxes of study booklets. We have recently received another container of materials, and so we have about 2,000 boxes ready to go out in 2024.”

I joined the WMP family in October of 2023. I grew up living right down the road from the Press and my grandfather worked here for a number of years. My wife and I recently married in March of 2023 and God was leading us to move from Florida back to Indiana. God opened the doors for the job at WMP so I joined the team as a web press operator. My favorite part about working here is being able to play a small part in a huge mission – spreading the gospel to the world. When I am not working, my wife and I like to have game nights with friends and family. I also love to read all different types of books. However, my favorite thing to do is learn more about God and pursue a deeper relationship with Him. I do this through journaling, studying the Bible, praying, and learning from teachers. There were some challenging times for my wife and me when we made the move from Florida, but words can’t describe how fulfilling it is to pursue God’s calling of spreading the Word! It is so rewarding knowing that I am right where God wants me here at WMP.
