God’s Word comes “from above” and is indeed very helpful to hearts that hunger and thirst after righteousness. When a person repents, forsakes sin, invites the Lord Jesus Christ to dwell in his heart, and believes with all his heart on the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, the Lord will manifest Himself to him and impart His own joy and peace to the believer’s heart. I experienced this in 1937 and have enjoyed wonderful fellowship with the Lord ever since. GOD’S MERCY — page 12

Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. —Lamentations 3:22, 23

WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT STRONG DRINK — page 15

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. —Proverbs 16:25

BE NOT DECEIVED — page 17

`You shall not murder.

`You shall not commit adultery.

`You shall not steal.

`You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

`You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife; and you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox, his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.'” —Deuteronomy 5:7-21

YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM GOD — page 21

EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT OF THE UNGODLY — page 22

“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” —Matthew 13:41, 42

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. —Psalm 9:17

CONFESSION OF CHRIST NECESSARY — page 34

SATAN — OUR ARCH ENEMY — page 35

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. —James 4:7, 8a

THE RESURRECTION, OUR GLORIOUS HOPE — page 39

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. —Romans 8:10, 11

HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD — page 40

For He has visited and redeemed His people,…to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.” —Luke 1:68b, 74, 75

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. —2 Corinthians 7:1

Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God; for you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor. But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” —1 Peter 1:15, 16

HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD — page 41

SPIRIT-FILLED MEN — page 42

WONDERFUL PROMISES TO CHRISTIANS — page 43

GOD SPEAKS TO US ABOUT DIVORCE — page 46

In the Pre-press Department, after new languages are typeset, proofread, and corrected, they are sent directly from the computer to the CTP (computer to plate) machine.

Our Man-Roland 6-color Press can print 2 over 4 colors at high speeds. What once took 14 hours to produce on the Hashimoto can be produced in 2.5 hours on the Man-Roland.

The Robertson-King web press produces and folds the insides of up to 60,000 Help From Above-size booklets (48 pages each) per hour.

Our high-speed bindery collates, staples, and trims 30,000 booklets per hour. Much of the work at the bindery is done by volunteers. More than 440 volunteers from 68 churches help in the ministry.

The slitter trims 500 Scripture booklets per minute. Millions of booklets per month are produced through World Missionary Press ministry.

Ten-pound boxes of Scripture booklets are often stacked on skids and wrapped for shipment overseas. An average of 1.5 tons of literature leave World Missionary Press each working day.

Mailing personnel, including volunteers, fill orders that come from the U.S. and overseas. Our goal is to produce and send as much of God’s Word as we can as economically as possible while we yet have freedom to do so.

A Vision for Russia

“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” –Matthew 9:36

Over the years World Missionary Press has seen God open doors that seemed shut, bring together new ministry partners to reach new areas with the gospel, and bring blessing out of seeming chaos.

An area coordinator wrote, “The information that is written in the booklet is very important for people because it talks about who God is and what He has done for each person. Some people thank us and tell us that we are doing the right thing. I thank you for these booklets, understanding the role that the Word of God plays in a person’s life. Thank you very much!”

WMP: Tell us about the plans to widen the distribution.

ACMI: Our ministry has grown not only in what services we provide the Kenyan people, but also in the geographical range of our work. Much work has been done in a refugee camp and other regions of Kenya. The Lord has led us to consider working in several regional areas by setting up sub-distribution points through pastors and churches already involved in using WMP literature. This will cut mailing/shipping expenses, make the material more readily available, give better feed-back regarding the need for other languages, and provide more timely reporting after the distribution. This comes from trusting the Lord for something to happen during this pandemic to enable us to reach out even to the people who are very far from where we are.

Bishop M. has recently retired from active involvement in this part of ACMI. He has expressed his great gratitude to World Missionary Press for the years of partnership and support through the supply of free literature. The work will continue under the direction of Paul and Irene M., who are also totally committed to seeing the Word of God spread throughout Kenya and beyond and are grateful to be able to count on WMP for continued support and supply. Irene once wrote, “I feel humbled to be part of this noble work of the Lord. The whole world needs to be reached with this gospel of good news!”

I FOUND SOLACE AND ANSWERS

Brother M. is from the rainforest area of southern Sri Lanka. When a pastor gave M. The Way to God Scripture booklet from World Missionary Press, he was intrigued by its content and allowed the pastor to explain the message of Christ’s love. Filled with joy, M. embraced Christ. He shared his newfound faith with his sisters who also read the booklet and welcomed the opportunity to learn more about Jesus. Update from the President

Dear Friends,

I’m so encouraged by the continued growth of World Missionary Press! In recent years especially, the Lord has increased our capacity for production by adding much-needed warehouse and shipment staging space, streamlining our workflow, providing for additional equipment, and bringing additional workers. During this same time, He has brought new opportunities for providing significantly increased quantities of His Word around the world to existing and new distribution partners. In fact, the recent increased demand for Scripture materials is even outpacing our growth in production!

Over the past couple years I’ve sensed a continued decrease in strength and energy level on my part.

First Peter 1:23-25 tells us that the word of God endures forever, but that people fade; “All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the Word of the Lord endures forever.” As we draw ever closer to the return of Christ, the need and urgency for His Word to flood the earth continues to grow, as does the ministry of World Missionary Press. Billions have yet to hear of and experience the love of Christ, and be “born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.”

Through prayerful consideration I have decided it is time for me to retire, turning over my leadership role to the next person God has chosen for this position. Lord willing, I will serve as president through the end of November. Our Board of Directors has formed a search committee, and has engaged an executive search firm that specializes in finding Christian leaders for nonprofits, to help find the next person God has chosen to serve as president of this amazing worldwide ministry.

Thank you for the ways you are partnering with World Missionary Press to produce and send portions of God’s powerful word throughout the earth! As the Lord leads us through the coming months and upcoming transition, your continued partnership in prayer and support is greatly appreciated! May the Lord bless and encourage you!

ENTRUSTED WITH THE GOSPEL

“But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.” –1 Thessalonians 2:4

God has entrusted World Missionary Press with the privilege of providing the gospel for the world. The evangelistic success of many ministries is due in part to the availability of free Scripture booklets in their local languages.

Togo is one of many nations where WMP booklets have a continual impact. This small country of 8.12 million people is located between Ghana and Benin in Western Africa. Many of the villages have yearly “festivals” dedicated to voodoo, witchcraft, and ancestor worship, although most of the population claims to be Christian.

Booklets in seven languages have been going to Togo since 1995. Roger W. was 17 and struggling to find his way when his pastor gave him a copy of Help From Above. He credits that booklet for his transformation to learning about Jesus. He has now been a pastor for 20 years.

A new shipment of 4,215 boxes of Scripture booklets in Ewe, French, and English will soon be heading to Togo to provide for three ministries. WMP national coordinator Raphael A. will receive 1,911 boxes (859,950 booklets) for his own ministry outreach. He will also supply requests for booklets like this one from Minhee L., a Korean missionary working in Togo. “I heard that WMP is sending out booklets to each country and language. And I found out that it’s also available in Togo. We need booklets for our ministry. I really want to get a booklet.”

Madam Chantal L., owner of Nouveau Centre de Literature Biblique, has been receiving booklets since 1999. When she receives the 1,792 boxes on this shipment, she will have received 2.5 million booklets over the last 25 years. She recently wrote, “Here in Togo we continue the work that the Lord has entrusted to us. We still need your booklets for distribution so that souls may be saved.”

Remy A., the new director of Every Home for Christ in Togo, will receive 230,790 Scripture booklets. This is his first shipment of WMP booklets, but he is excited for the future. He writes, “We are truly at a new beginning in the work of EHC Togo. Your brochures and booklets will help us effectively relaunch the work. This will be my first experience receiving your packages for the ministry. I look forward to a wonderful relationship in 2024.”

A fellow coordinator in Benin, Sunday A., is excited that Togo is receiving a new supply of Scripture booklets. “We really give thanks to the Lord because many lives are transformed by the teaching in the booklets.”

Meet the Team: Ben G., Bindery Operator

I grew up outside of Harlan, Indiana. My first experience with WMP was in high school. It wouldn’t be until after college that I was reintroduced to the Press through a friend. I applied and God brought me here. I have made friends, learned new skills, and experienced answers to prayer. Alongside learning to be a bindery operator, I am also a part of the landscape and maintenance team. Every day is full of new learning opportunities and reminders that God loves us all.

I experience God’s beauty through His creation. I enjoy meeting people, attending sporting events, catching sunsets, and telling stories. Some of my hobbies are fishing, gardening, making apple cider, pottery, baling hay, drawing, and playing games. As an artist I enjoy making ceramic spinning tops and animals, painting with watercolor, and tying flies. We have all been given talents and when used, God receives the glory that is due.

I have learned to love God and people. No matter our story, we are all important and have value. It is through praying that miracles happen.

May we live out Matthew 5:14-16 and John 15:13, shining for Jesus in all that we do.

INVITING ALL TO THE COMING MARRIAGE

“Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” (Revelation 19:6b-7)

Jesus is actively building His church, preparing His bride, and collecting His people. The world’s news media reports the changes, chaos, and conflicts of the nations, focusing on the suffering, pain, and oppression. Despite their perspective, God is still setting people free from sin, healing their hurts, and providing for their physical needs. Scripture is God’s invitation to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Through World Missionary Press Scripture booklets, many unreached people are invited to come by witnessing servants of Christ. Our distributors report the miracles, share the testimonies, and tell the stories of how neighbors, coworkers, and friends turn to Jesus, how fellowship groups are established, and how churches are planted.

Last year WMP provided 57 million booklets in 103 languages to 28 countries in Africa. “We have been richly blessed with the receipt and distribution of hundreds of thousands of evangelism and discipleship documents made available for the body of Christ and the salvation of souls. The people of Côte d’Ivoire are happy to receive these booklets, which are a treasure. The booklets are a door of revelation manifesting the love, goodness, and faithfulness of God. With WMP, we go everywhere in each home, towards each person (tribe and people) to bring the good news of the gospel of Jesus.” –Lolo L.

ASIA

Although much of Asia resists Christianity, requests for Scripture booklets printed in the languages of this region continue to come in. God’s Word is available in Japanese, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Dari (Afghanistan), Persian (Iran), Urdu (Pakistan) Hmong Daw (China, North Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos), Nepali, and many other languages of this region. At the request of distributors, we are also preparing booklets in Azeri (Azerbaijan) and Pashtu (Afghanistan). We are excited to prepare another container of literature for Pakistan, as well as provide 24 million booklets for a nation in South Asia.

AUSTRALIA

Requests from Australia are increasing. Emma G. teaches English to people residing in Australia from various countries in Africa and from Japan. She uses the The Way to God and the Bible Study on Matthew in her classes.

Mario M. informed us, “It is difficult to find Christian literature down here. Someone gave me one of your booklets in 2006 and it had a big impact in my life. As I saw myself in the mirror of God’s Word, I called unto the Lord for deliverance and salvation. I now use the booklets with family members and friends that don’t know the Lord personally.”

EUROPE

In 2024 WMP will have the privilege of supplying Scripture booklets in multiple languages for a major outreach at the biggest rock music festival in Northern Europe. Promotors estimate a crowd of up to 165,000 people. “The youth, especially young men, are open to the things of God. We are praying for 1,000 soul winners in Denmark for those days. There will also be opportunities for outreach at the July 2024 European Union Soccer championships and the August 2024 Paris Olympics. NORTH AMERICA

Believers in North America are recognizing that the secularized society has grown ignorant of gospel truths. More and more are using Scripture booklets to reach those they encounter, making use of booklets published in the many foreign languages now spoken in Canada and the USA.

“What sets your organization apart from other tract publishers is the wide variety of language options available. I live in Boston, which is a very diverse city. Not being able to communicate the gospel due to a language barrier is very painful and frustrating. With your booklet variety, I can always leave someone with a message in their own language.” –Michael P.

From Ontario, Canada, Janet B. writes, “My daughter and I received a booklet Help from Above from a 4 to 6-year-old little girl outside a public mall in Scarborough. We looked at the back of the booklet and found your website address. We will be handing out God Loves You! coloring books outside malls and public places near Toronto. We want to share the truth of God’s love for humanity and give an opportunity for all to receive Christ while there is still time.”

“One of your distributors prayed for me in the Minneapolis airport and gave one of your booklets to me. Thank you and God bless you for sharing the Word throughout the world. I will be sharing The Way to God with my friends and family members and other baby Christians.” –Ronald R., of Arizona.

SOUTH AND CENTRAL AMERICA

Ministries and distribution points are growing in Brazil, Peru, and other countries. Over 40 million booklets are on the WMP production schedule for Latin America, including Mexico. This past year in Central Mexico, distributors dispersed a shipment of 200,000 booklets in less than 6 months.

Lucas S. of Brazil thanks WMP for witnessing tools that he otherwise could not afford. “I am a novice pastor engaged in missions, taking over a small church in a neighborhood lacking the gospel and with great social inequality, with about 35 thousand residents and less than 15% believers in the Lord. The neighborhood still has an epidemic of crack users and many homeless people living together with a large population of families and children. It is a fertile field for the preaching of the gospel and the advancement of the work.”

When placing his first order for booklets, Nick P. wrote, “I am an active local missionary serving 14 years in Peru. I work in a ghetto community called Ventanilla in the northern outskirts of Lima city and a traditional witchcraft village called Huasao in the nearby city of Cusco. I hope that this order will build into a relationship for our evangelism ministry in Peru. May God bless you all and your ministry!”

SHINING THE GOSPEL IN THE SHADOWED LAND

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. –1 Corinthians 3:8

Europe, once a bastion of Christendom and a platform for the church to become a force for world evangelism, is now one of the most secular and least religious continents in the world. Through individuals, as well as multi-national ministries, the truth of God’s Word is being spread across this continent using WMP Scripture booklets – shining light into an otherwise bleak religious landscape.

“I am enthusiastic about being a volunteer distributor for World Missionary Press in Holland.

European churches often face challenges, with many being empty, closed, or repurposed as shops or nightclubs. As the growing population is atheist or Islamic, many do not want to receive the booklets on the streets, so I put the booklets in the mailboxes,” Otoniel D. writes about his ministry. [In the USA, it is not legal to put items in mailboxes.]

Anthony D. of Italy ministers to the homeless, taking food, a hot drink, and the How to Know God booklets in various languages to homeless foreign and Italian people in their sleeping places. He has just placed an order for 250 Bengali booklets to start a ministry among 1,000 Bangladeshis living and working in a Northern Italian province.

Absalun E. ordered 15,000 booklets to evangelize “the interior of Portugal where there are more than 600 cities where there is no Christian church. Our main objective is to be able to get people to decide about their spiritual future.”

[WMP prints booklets in every language of the countries of Europe. Container shipments are scheduled for Romania and Finland. Pray with us, that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will bring revival in Europe and an end to the spiritual darkness.]

A LOT OF PRAYER

I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting. – Daniel 9:3a

“The next time I was in his village, I shared more of the gospel with him. We prayed together. I asked him to continue to pray only to Jesus about the challenges he was facing. Before long, V. began to see incredible improvement in his family. This change allowed both him and his family to place their faith in Christ as their Savior. Their family now hosts a fellowship gathering in their home.”

After distributing hundreds of booklets across five villages, Pastor S. was hoping that several people would call him to learn more about Jesus. Even though it is a huge risk, he writes his personal phone number on the back of each booklet. For many weeks no one called. Sad, he and his wife decided to fast and pray. At the end of the first day of fasting, Pastor S. got a call from someone asking him to come and tell more about Jesus. The pastor was excited to no end, praising and thanking God profusely. A church was started and now 20 people regularly meet for worship.

Pastor J. has been praying seriously about reaching out to a people that remain very resistant to the gospel because of their high status in society. One Christmas season Pastor J. and his church fasted and prayed for many days before undertaking a trip to preach the gospel among these people. In a certain village they met R. and gave him the WMP Scripture booklets The Way to God and Help from Above. He invited the team to his house to hear more. Now Pastor J. meets for worship with ten converts in their village. The first church in this entire region!

A container full of booklets (the third this year) is en route to support the many partners and evangelists in this South Asia nation who faithfully take God’s Word to those who do not know of His love for them and the hope He offers. Four more containers with nearly 8 million booklets are soon to be produced here, with millions more booklets being printed inside this country of more than a billion souls.

Meet the Team: Nathan F., Assistant Six-Color Pressman

At the end of 2022, I was dreading my old job and ready for a change. I had grown cold in my relationship with God, and developed some habits that were detrimental. The first habit I changed when I started getting back to God was to start listening to worship music. I was listening to WFRN radio when I heard there was a job opening at World Missionary Press.

Each time I heard the ad I felt like I should try it. I felt that working at the Press might be an opportunity to feel fulfilled in my work for the first time in my life. I started as the assistant pressman of the six-color press at the beginning of February, 2023. I like working here because ultimately I am working for God and bringing people into His kingdom. The environment is helping me be even closer to God.

Just a little family history: I am Mom’s only child. Chuck came into our lives when I was 11 and I eventually considered him my father. Chuck was an army “brat” who adopted two sons, Rob and Marty, who I consider my brothers.

Chuck died recently. So now I have the responsibility to care for the LLC that runs his rental houses. I am the primary VA caretaker for my brother Rob who has PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). I live with my brothers and am responsible for most of the house keeping.

For hobbies, I play a couple of video games, target shoot, and enjoy paintballing now and then. A few times a year, at area car shows, I show the family’s classic cars.

“WE BEG YOU TO SEND MORE”

I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. – Isaiah 41:18a

In 2007, Harold Mack, WMP President, visited several countries in South America, meeting with distributors and hearing how the Scripture booklets blessed so many. A primary focus of that trip was to establish a WMP national coordinator for Peru. At distributor meetings in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, prayer was lifted up for this critical need.

God did indeed supply a centralized distribution point in Lima. That distribution point has served the many current distributors in the country and provided larger supplies to encourage other churches, evangelists, and ministries to include the Scripture booklets in their outreach.

As a result, requests for WMP literature have grown, with several ministries asking for large shipments to serve their associated pastors and churches. “We need a lot of evangelistic literature for Southern Peru. We beg you to send more.” This plea from Austin V. is repeated again and again. Two major shipments are currently in line for production to meet these needs.

One shipment will supply 9 pastors and their churches with a total of 920,000 booklets. The second shipment will supply a new ministry partner who learned of WMP through our coordinator in Bolivia. They will be receiving 1,343,440 booklets, including 50,000 copies of The Way to God booklet in Low German (a new item just added to the WMP list of available languages).

During the pandemic, many workers left Lima and returned to their villages in the highlands and jungles. Many of these people live in impoverished conditions. Workers with David B.’s ministry in one of these deprived areas encounter violent young men from troubled homes and “students in the midst of the darkest family struggles. How wonderful it is to be able to give them something beautiful and true.”

Uruguay

After several years of limited opportunities in Uruguay, the close working partnership of Every Home for Christ and WMP has found new energy through Silvana P., the new EHC director, and EHC’s purchase of a 3,200 sq. ft. warehouse “where we can receive all the material that you send us for the blessing of our country.” WMP has sent a container with 466,310 booklets, Bible studies, and God Loves You! salvation coloring books.

Silvana tells why Pastor Sandro, who partners with EHC Uruguay, believes in the booklet ministry. Sandro was a homeless person who slept with wrapped cardboard on the streets of Brazil. One day someone threw a New Testament and an evangelistic tract through his cardboard. They caught his attention and he began to read. “Before long he turned his life over to the Lord and began the process of getting his life back. That is how literature helped him get out of his addictions.”

Silvana explains that Uruguay is “a country where the Word is unknown and where, if one stops in front of a school to distribute evangelistic tracts, the teachers accuse us of being bothersome. We thank God, because despite being known as a sad country, we know that God is moving His hand, so that many will know Him. Thank you for investing in Uruguay.”

Meet the Team: Mike C., Strategist

I first heard about World Missionary Press while listening to Pulse FM. They were advertising a job on the presses, but after interviewing with the heads of several departments, WMP offered me work as a strategist.

Before coming here, I had never experienced a job interview that opened with prayer. Scripture says we come up with our plans, but the Lord directs our steps. “He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think,” according to Ephesians. I’m thankful He’s done that by bringing me here to the Press. I’ve been here almost a year.

The strategy job is in the Partner Relations Department, which involves fundraising, communications, and special events. In addition, they loan me out to the Product Development Department for special projects. Right now we’re preparing for a trip to Ghana, to film distribution efforts and collect testimonies. What a blessing!

In my personal life, I’m learning French, developing a startup, and earning credits at Ivy Tech. My favorite TV show is a black-and-white series called Combat, about soldiers fighting in Europe during World War Two. As followers of Christ, we’re also called to fight the good fight, to retake fallen ground. But our weapons are not carnal. They’re spiritual. Not planes and tanks, but prayer and Scripture.
