Vice President of Advancement & Strategic Partnerships
We are seeking a visionary, Christ-centered leader to serve as our Vice President of Advancement & Strategic Partnerships. This executive leadership role is responsible for advancing the ministry through strategic fundraising, donor and partner engagement, marketing and communications, and organizational storytelling. The VP will cultivate meaningful relationships with individuals, churches, foundations, and ministry partners while leading initiatives that increase awareness, strengthen financial sustainability, and expand the global impact of World Missionary Press.
The ideal candidate is a servant leader with a passion for the Great Commission, exceptional relationship-building skills, and experience in fundraising, major gifts, communications, and strategic planning. This individual will help inspire others to join the mission of ensuring every person, in every nation, has access to the message of hope in their own language.
Position Purpose
The Vice President of Advancement & Strategic Partnerships serves as the chief relationship builder, storyteller, and fundraising leader for World Missionary Press. This role is responsible for advancing the ministry’s mission by cultivating strategic partnerships, growing financial support, strengthening donor engagement, and communicating the impact of God’s work around the world.
This position exists to help tell the story of what God is doing through World Missionary Press and invite others to participate through prayer, partnership, and financial support.
As a member of the leadership team, the VP helps position World Missionary Press to fulfill its vision of every person, in every nation, having access to the message of hope in their own language.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Advancement & Fundraising
- Lead and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
- Cultivate major donors, foundations, churches, and ministry partners.
- Strengthen annual giving, planned giving, endowment, and grant opportunities.
- Develop sustainable systems for donor engagement and stewardship.
Marketing & Communications
- Champion the ministry’s storytelling efforts across all communication channels.
- Oversee marketing, promotional, digital, and donor communication initiatives.
- Communicate ministry impact through compelling stories, testimonies, and reports.
Strategic Partnerships
- Build relationships with churches, distributors, ministries, foundations, and key people.
- Represent World Missionary Press at conferences, events, and ministry gatherings.
- Identify opportunities that expand the ministry’s reach and effectiveness.
Leadership & Strategy
- Contribute to organizational planning and leadership initiatives.
- Help build goals and key performance indicators for advancement efforts.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to align resources, messaging, and ministry priorities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates a mature Christian faith and agreement with the World Missionary Press Statement of Faith.
- Passion for the Great Commission and global evangelism.
- Proven leadership experience in advancement, major fundraising, development, marketing, communications, or building strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire others toward a shared mission and vision.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; Master’s Degree preferred
