A Letter from Uganda
“The Scripture booklets are a clear testimony that many hearts continue to be reached out to and it’s so encouraging that all age groups are being catered for.
“With many vulnerable people in most of these vulnerable villages we reach out to living below the poverty line, many of them cannot afford to access the Word of God, or cannot even afford buying a Bible or any other resourceful material through which they can know more about God. In such a scenario, the Scripture booklets, which are free of charge, come in handy in bringing the Good News of salvation close to the hearts and doorsteps of everyone.
“And to add an icing on the cake, it’s so wonderful that the Scripture booklets are in several languages, giving a chance [for] many to receive the Word of God in their heart language, hence making it easier to understand. The school-going age children are enjoying reading the Scripture booklets in the rural communities and this is a great way of enabling them [to] access the Word. Reaching out to young souls and seeing them yearning to receive the Scripture booklets, to even take home for their siblings to read the Word in their heart language, tells it all how the Word of God is so vital in all age groups.
“Sarah, one of the beneficiaries from reading the Scripture booklet in her heart language, from one of the vulnerable and remote village[s] we reached out to, confessed to us on one of our mission outreach trips how she never had any reading material in her temporary grass-thatched house and had the thirst for the gospel all along, with no one to reach out to her with the Good News. In otherwards, she was living in darkness! But when Frontline Outreach Ministries reached [out] to her in her home village and shared the Good News with her and even had some Scripture booklets to give her, the joy on her face (and l can imagine that even deep in her heart) was immeasurable!
“Pastor James, myself, and Brother Tom, plus the rest of the others we continue to work with over the years and still counting in spreading the gospel, [are] all such a great investment of our time where it matters most. The support from our families through prayers, encouragement, and much more and from all partners like World Missionary Press, Ecorse Community Bible Church, all friends and many more, are such great pillars in our continuous journey of serving the Lord, for which we are all so indebted for everyone’s support and prayers.
“For all that we have been able to do over the years and still counting, the number of villages we have been able to reach out to over the years and still counting, and far much more is all not about us, but the glory and honor of the Lord Almighty to be amplified to the watching world, for many to turn to the Lord and believe in Him for that’s [what] matters.
“Thank you World Missionary Press for your support to us here as Frontline Outreach Ministries over the years and still counting. Glory be to God!”
