The Word Works
At
a clinic in Madagascar, where
98% of the population is Muslim, a worker with a heart for God asked for
Scripture booklets in French, English, and German for patients who read those
languages. He is a light in a dark place, where there is severe persecution
for anyone converting to Christianity.
From
the Caribbean island of Bonaire,
request came for 5,000 copies of Papiamento Scripture booklets for people
going to Aruba or Curacao to distribute to family and friends.
In
the United Kingdom,
a concerned worker is planting seeds of the gospel through Polish Help From
Above. A weekly outreach meeting she started is growing. She writes of the
one million Poles there, "Their need of the Savior is very apparent."
A
chaplain in Afghanistan, assigned
to an international compound in Kabul, has requested WMP Scripture booklets in
English and NATO languages. Religious support is provided for people from 49
nations, though specifically to American troops.
