Co-Worker’s Son Finds Christ Through Booklets
“A lady I work with has a 10-year-old who was asking a lot of questions regarding his salvation and how he can know that he is going to heaven. I helped her with some Scripture references but then remembered I had some World Missionary Press booklets. She took these home to him and through her dialogue and with the help of the Holy Spirit, he accepted Christ.

“Despite global divine good news achievement, hundreds of people are still perishing because of lack of knowledge in the distant villages in the southwest province. [In one village] no church has been established. This was our major objective, for which we requested the Bible booklets. We asked particularly for Satan versus CHRIST since it emphasizes witchcraft, idol worship, etc. In the village of Bokwai, after a sermon there, one lady openly rebuked her friend to remove the witchcraft bay buried behind her backyard.

“I will be making another trip to the Republic of Latvia. God has opened doors for the ministry to grow in that former Soviet nation. I am now getting into more and more churches.

God Moves a Prisoner Into Place to Answer a Prayer
“Thank you for the two sets of booklets that I received about 1½ months ago. It was such a blessing to give them to some hungry (for the Word) men. The Lord used me [to] pass one set out in one housing unit. I was led of the Lord to give A Bible Study on Revelation to one man I knew in another housing unit, but how was I to get it to him? Then that night I was moved...to the unit where this man was. When I gave it to him and told him the Lord wanted me to give it to him, he said, ‘I had a study on Revelation and lent it out and never got it back. Scott and I were praying for a study on Revelation and you brought us one. It seems that once we pray, the Lord answers our prayers quickly.’ I was there less than 12 hours [before being] moved again for an ‘unknown’ reason.”

Prisoner Freed to Minister
“For the past two years we have received correspondence and letters from 140 prisons in Ukraine. I always wondered [why], since we never targeted those prisons. Then we noticed a volunteer who would come every month to pick up as many gospel booklets as he could carry and then return the next month. Last month, when we asked him who he was, he told us his story.

“Two years ago he was in prison, convicted for life. One day somebody gave him a little book that said, How to Know God. He read the booklet and wrote to our EHC office asking for a New Testament. We sent him a New Testament and he began to read it. He got to Luke 4:18 where it says, ‘To proclaim liberty to captives.’ In Russian, it reads, ‘To free the prisoners.’ He made a covenant with the Lord. He said, ‘Lord, if this is Truth and you are a real God, then free me and give me a Christian wife.’

“Four months went by. One day he was called to the office and told that he was free to go. After he was released, he found a church. Two months later he found a Christian wife, and now he is taking the good news to others, especially to those in prisons.

“I am amazed at the POWER of the PRINTED WORD.

“It has been such a joy and privilege for me to partner with you in taking the gospel to millions of people that heard it for the first time in their life.”

“I Want to Shout for Joy All the Time”
“I am a Christian. Before I was baptized, I was living the life of a dirty sinner. Although I was brought up in church, I had strayed from the truth. But the seed that was planted in me very early in my life started to grow and I began to be in want for the gospel to make me what I used to be. I got what I need—the peace and contentment that God gives.

“This is my story: One day I was cleaning up my dressing table, and there upon it I found a little booklet with this title: How to Know God. I took it up, not knowing who put it there, and I began to read.... As I continued to read, all of a sudden I began to feel so humble and light, as if I was floating. “I am a pastor, born again, washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, and ordained by God. I came to know you in a miraculous way when I was going to the lake one evening. One of our girls who is in high school took 10 to school with her and came back after school to get 50 more. This Saturday night we will distribute at least 500 in downtown Port Antonio. While waiting for the bank to open this morning, I passed out 25 copies of The Way to God. Soon people were coming up to my van to ask for copies.
