Found Christ in a State Fair Booth

A volunteer receptionist at WMP received a call from Sandra B., who ordered two boxes of A Bible Study on John. She and her husband Howard, in their seventies, had sold their home and bought a camper. Ten months out of the year they travel to state fairs and set up a booth. In Detroit, a Muslim man (Sam) who also had a booth there selling hand-made jewelry, came by and talked with Howard and Sandra for three days. On the fourth day, they brought him into the booth and showed him what the Bible had to say. He accepted Jesus as Savior, and they gave him A Bible Study on John. They watched him work on that study for the next couple of days and then gave him a Bible. Sandra said Sam's face was radiant when he showed them that he had filled in each question in the Bible study.

Xhosa Man Devours Message

"We have begun carrying the booklets in the car for use when prompted. Yesterday I parked in a side street in Fish Hoek and noticed a young man sweeping the sidewalk. I gave him a copy of the [2-in1] Scripture booklet in Xhosa, and he was immediately engrossed in reading it. It was so awesome to watch how the God of the Xhosa speaks to a Xhosa through the pages of a Xhosa booklet! As I drove away, he didn't lift his eyes from the booklet. He just devoured the message, page by page! Thank you for providing the booklets."

Village Pastors Starved for Literature

"I have just returned from a 35-day trip to Peru. We were able to distribute 2,000 booklets. I just want to say thanks because many people who have never heard the gospel now have a booklet to help them. I was able to minister to over 1,000 children in the poor jungle villages. Thanks for your continued love for the Lord. Without your ministry, many would never hear the gospel. I also gave many booklets to village pastors who are starving for literature to pass out."

Evangelizing in Satan's Stronghold

"My ministry has been evangelizing in Pomona for 2 1/2 years. It is a stronghold of gangs, drugs, prostitutes, gay bars, Satan worship, and people who don't know God. I want to tell you about a guy named Mike. I witnessed to him and gave him the booklet How to Know God with my phone number on the back. Two weeks later he called me at 11:30 at night, saying he was drinking and needed prayer because he had been going through so much. I prayed with him, and he made a profession of faith. I have been teaching him on Thursday nights, and he has such a hunger to know God. Mike was stabbed four times at the age of 16, and his best friend died. He says he knows he needs God. I thank God for your ministry."

God Became Real Through Rice and a Booklet

"My husband left home to look for work a long time ago, and I am wondering what happened to him. He has not returned. My two children are with me. A knock on my door turned out to be a miracle knock. We had reached the end of the line with no hope. When I opened the packet [of rice], I found a booklet called Who Am I That a King Would Die in My Place?, and it was in my language! I am so touched. God has become real to my small family. Thank you [Every Home for Christ] for coming when I needed people to speak to me the Word of God."

God's Timing Was Perfect

"A missionary in the Amazon region was invited to an elementary school to teach the Bible. But the missionaries didn't have any biblical literature to help the students learn. I didn't know anything about their work with children, but I sent them six boxes of The Way to God, designed for children. The boxes arrived one day before they started teaching. The timing of God was perfect! The result was marvelous. Many children accepted Christ as their Savior, and they took the booklets to their homes which, without doubt, reached their parents, too."
