"My name is David. I'm 46 years of age and doing a 15-year sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on the Ferguson Unit in Midway, Texas. I'm happy to say that, as of July 4, 2006, I'm a born-again Christian.
"I just finished a course with Source of Light Ministries which I've been studying with their lessons for about a year. It might be longer, because time seems to fly peacefully as I study - one of many gifts from God. [When] I finished a course with SLM, they sent me a Bible and Christian materials. One of them is a booklet called 'Joy'/My Bible Reading book, Vol. 2. I must tell you how much of a blessing it is to receive this booklet which is simple but yet so powerful. The description of every book in the Bible with its special verses is fantastic. I didn't think an old goat like me would be smiling ear-to-ear as I read this. It's all about the love of God and knowing His Word. My gratitude goes to the author, Mrs. Rose Stair Goodman, for the dedication of her time in constructing a booklet like this. Life Changed Drastically
