Heard The Name of Jesus for the First Time
"I am serving a sentence of many years in prison. I recently attended a church service for the first time in my life where I heard the name of Jesus Christ. The message was how the Lord Jesus Christ can change one's life. We received a [2-in-1] booklet called Help From Above/The Way to God, and I gave my life to Jesus. Since then, my life has changed in many ways. I must say that life is now actually a blessing to me. I would like to share this message with other inmates, too, and I am now asking you to please provide me with more of your gospel booklets. I don't want to share my own booklet, as it is so precious to me. Since I received this booklet, I have treasured it because it is like my lifeline that I cling to every day."

Booklets a Stimulus to Evangelize
"I would like to start with a Brazilian saying: 'Happiness to be felt needs to be interrupted.'
"Throughout these more than ten years working with the World Missionary Press, many booklets [have been] distributed, leading thousands of people to accept Christ as their personal Savior. Only eternity will reveal the results of so much dedication of those within
WMP - those who contributed many times with sacrifice so that these booklets could get into the hands of millions of souls who did not know Jesus
Christ.
"These booklets also serve as stimulus to many churches and their members to awake to the work of evangelism since without this literature people tended to [stay] inside their churches. However, when they are given an opportunity to receive this useful material, they wake up to the reality and go out with a lot of joy to the streets, neighbors, work, hospitals, penitentiaries, and so on - not only to deliver these booklets but also to share their personal testimonies.
"The dimension of this work I could only feel now, when since October we haven't had a single booklet to distribute. I now realize the value that this literature has in the work of evangelism in Brazil. Thousands of people are waiting anxiously to receive their shipment. Daily, there are phone calls, letters, and e-mails from everywhere in Brazil, wondering if the new shipment has arrived. Some people are almost desperate, imploring for the material to come as quickly as possible.
"That’s why I stated in the beginning that 'happiness to be felt needs to be interrupted.' Now, with the lack of material, it was possible to closely feel the need to continue this work. I realize that we can't, not for a single moment, let these people be without their tools to evangelize, because there are millions of Brazilians out there who still don't know Christ and need to be reached.
"May God continue to bless WMP, give them resources, raising new sponsors so that this ministry may be amplified much more."

Grateful for Booklets from Heaven
"We are very thankful to World Missionary Press for providing numerous gospel booklets we can use for evangelism and outreach. Thanks also to God that we have grown.
