Grateful for an Unknown Passerby

"God being so merciful, as days turn into weeks and months into years, I am much grateful for the day I first read through a booklet [The Power of God] given to me by an unknown passerby. I was encouraged to join a church and learn the words of God, since His Word shall be a light for my feet to throw more light on what I have learned and understood of God’s power, salvation, and the reason for God creating me.

"The church I have joined has great plans for the youth. Often we go out to win souls for Christ, but it is my wish to also win more souls wherever I go myself.

"Last but not the least, what edged me on to request more booklets was what I noticed among my friends. They don’t have the fear of the Lord upon them. But, as I take this booklet, it is my greatest wish that I can transform them to believe in the words of God and to let them gain salvation."

Spiritual Hunger in New York City

"I am an evangelist in New York City. One of the ways that I have been ministering the Word of God is through handing out hundreds of thousands of tracts in the streets, in hospitals, in parks, shopping malls, and in prisons. All over the state [New York] and the world-famous NYC subways. I can hand out thousands of tracts in a few hours while people are coming and going non-stop."

"Now, more than ever in history, souls are hungry for some kind of spiritual feeling or connection. In addition, as true believers in a loving and powerful God, we have the responsibility to be a witness to these people and to show them that it is not a particular religion that they need, but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

"From time to time, I find different kinds of tracts lying in the street when people just don't care to read them, but not your booklets. I personally pray for all the booklets I hand out and for the glory of God they don't throw them out. This is why, of all the different kinds of tracts I hand out, yours are among my favorite.... These booklets have touched so many lives. I know that our Lord is more than capable to multiply the seed that you blessed servants sow to this ministry."

1,200 Conversions in Gabon

"I work in Gabon, Africa, at the Bongolo Hospital, a Christian and Missionary Alliance hospital. The patients and people in some of the surrounding villages were very glad to receive your little Scripture booklets. At the hospital we had about 1,200 conversions to Christ in [one year]. These booklets are good for evangelism and also for follow-up of our patients who accept the Lord.

"God bless you for your ministry. Thanks again for your help."

Kreyol New Testaments Given to Children

"The 738 Haitian Kreyol New Testaments that I received have been distributed by our teachers here in northwestern Haiti. The majority were given in our Good News Clubs as prizes to boys and girls who learned the books of the Bible and verses in the Roman's Road. The other New Testaments were given during our Five-Day Clubs this summer to children who did not have a Bible and to some children who believed in Jesus Christ as their Savior and needed a copy of God's Word."
