Hindu Villagers Read Booklets
"We are very thankful to you for sending 5,000 Telegu booklets.
"We conducted gospel tours and took the booklets to distribute. We went to a village where all the people are Hindus. We faced many problems with the village elders. Somehow we finally made them to accept our conducting a meeting. I personally requested all the people to attend and just once hear about Jesus Christ. About 4
o'clock, 80 of the people attended, and I started preaching the gospel to them: how Jesus Christ was born for us, died for our sins, and was raised from
death.
"After I finished, I told my staff to put the Telegu booklets on the table. They did it, and I told those who were interested to know more about God to please take the booklets. After that, 60 people took the booklets and were reading along the way to their homes. We stayed that night at that village. We visited their houses and were amazed to see that every person in the home was reading the booklet
carefully.
"We are very thankful for your giving us this opportunity to spread the Word of God to people. In May we are planning to conduct large-scale gospel meetings in the forests, hills, and deep villages. Maybe God will give us strength and your help of booklets will bring new believers to
Christ."

"We go into five prisons on the border of Mexico from Matamoras to Nuevo Laredo. We have used your booklets for about six weeks. The prisoners are eager to read about God.
