“I have just returned from an evangelistic mission in Lima. There were 781 decisions for Jesus Christ using Socorro de lo Alto [Spanish Help From Above]. We are having another evangelistic mission in Lima in the near future and need [more of] these booklets. Thank you.”

A First for Senegal Villages

“We just came back from Senegal after finishing the medical mission trip successfully. We treated many patients at makeshift clinics at the various villages.

“Senegal is predominantly a Muslim country—at least 95% of the population. It [would have been] very difficult to distribute those precious Bible booklets without the medical clinics we opened. We were able to give [booklets] freely to those who came to receive free medical care. We also distributed free reading glasses, and the old folks used the new glasses to read the Bible verses for the first time!

“Then we received authorization from the village chiefs to show the Jesus film with Wolof dialogue in the night. [For] the first time in the history of their villages, we showed a Christian film in their native tongue, and then we distributed the precious Bible booklets. We found a few torn booklets after the crowd left, so a few refused to take them home; but a majority of the [booklets] were kept by the Muslims in Senegal.”

The Way to God—a Relevant Tool

“My name is Peter R. from the island of Trinidad. I read a copy of your booklet, The Way to God, and I was very impressed by the way you were able to share the entire gospel in one little booklet.

“God has been speaking to me to get more involved in personal evangelism—to speak to and meet people on a personal level—and I believe this booklet will help me to be more successful in my evangelism work.... Every year we are involved in a lot of crusades. Also, I work at a hospital. I see a lot of desperate people every day who need Jesus. I would like to present the gospel to them more [this year].

“I chanced to get one of the booklets that you send to Nigeria, titled How to Know God, and I read it. It was a good message—good for both [unsaved] and believers.

“Please, I am interested in receiving additional studies of God’s Word, and also I want you to send more copies of that same booklet (How to Know God) so that I too can be a partaker in distributing it to others....

“I am ready with faithfulness, truthfulness, and sincerity to God and man to preach the Word to the world because it is God’s command and I accept it.”
