Once a Sinner, Now Is Saved

“I am a male aged 16. I was a sinner, but now I am saved. Before I was saved, I used to play with bad friends. We would insult people, steal other people’s things, and beat up our friends. But since my good friend started going to church with me, my life has changed. Before I was saved, I read that book which you published, titled The Way to God. Since I read that book and started going to church, my life has completely changed. I wrote this letter to tell you that I would like to have the Scripture booklets so that I can know God better and for guidance.”

God Works in Prisoner’s Life

“I was recently given one of your Scripture-Text Datebooks by someone that I don’t know. What really caught my full attention was the fact that the night before, I was in a very serious thinking mode about my life and that I needed to come close to the Lord. So I quietly closed my eyes and asked the Lord to please help me build my faith stronger. Well, the following day this individual sent me a Scripture-Text Datebook! The first thing that came to my mind was my short prayer I had made the night before. I really don’t know how to pray, but I remember one Scripture said to just ask, so I asked.

“I am currently incarcerated. I am really tired of living the same old life. I want to live a better life so I can make a difference not only for me but for my loving wife as well. I need all the biblical literature I can get. In your Scripture-Text Datebook I noticed your Bible study booklets, and I would love to study [them]. Please send me these Bible studies. I’m really and honestly very interested in building my faith.”

Touching a Heart in Ethiopia

“Your How to Know God booklet arrived this morning. Thank you very much for your excellent gift.

“I live in Ethiopia. On the booklet’s first page, it says ‘And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.’ Yes, it is true. I didn’t know [much about the Bible] before, but now I study every time [I can].

“I want to ask you for additional studies of God’s words and an English Bible. ‘The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth’ (Psalm 145:18).”

The Only Remedy for the Wounds of the World

“Thank you so much for your wonderful booklets which I give to many people, always accompanied with my personal testimony. Indeed, I have had blessed conversations leading directly to the Savior. Now I need some more booklets. Would you be kind to send to me two boxes full of HILFE VON OBEN (Help From Above in German) and one box full of other German booklets, mixed [titles]....
