Almighty God Doesn't Charge

"It is your friend Shadrack writing this letter. I read the booklet you gave me....

"I was a bad boy in school, home, and everywhere I go people say bad things about me. But now that I have changed, I need something to guide myself. Now if I go to juju man's place, he will charge me for the things he will give me. But I heard of one called Almighty God who does things for us and doesn't charge. So the first day I went to church, the pastor prayed for me and told me that I should read the Bible every day, but don't have money [to buy one]. So the first time I saw this booklet I read it, and it was very interesting. I told myself that if I have this booklet and read it with my friends when we are in class doing nothing, I think that it will help us.

"So, I plan to use this booklet as my Bible, to read it every time I am free and to study it with my friends. [It will] protect me not to fall into sin again—not to steal, not to cheat, not to insult, not to watch bad films, not to play wicked games, etc....

Sees Many Coming to Christ

"I'm so grateful for your support and help toward our ministry of evangelism in our nation. I am an evangelist, and I have been so blessed both spiritually and physically in this ministry. We do door-to-door evangelism, and I have seen many people coming to Christ. A lot of Muslims have given their lives to Christ, too. Sometimes we get 20-30 people a day.

"We issue these booklets to people who have accepted Christ in their lives as well as to those who have not, because we believe the Word of God is a seed; and as they continue to read them, we believe one day they will surrender to Christ. We do follow-ups in about two weeks from the time we evangelize in a certain area, and all we get to hear is only good news. These people tell us how their spiritual lives have been uplifted as well as their physical lives. Some of them take the message to other members of the family and friends, too.

"A lot has come out of this ministry of yours because as you send us these booklets, you enable us to reach more and more souls. We thank God who gave you that vision because it has touched a lot of people, especially in our nation."

"...I received a call from the office of Isaac Estrada, and they informed me of the arrival of the 120 boxes.... I'm grateful for your generosity toward us. I want to give testimony that in two weeks of the campaign, more than 70 souls have come to Jesus. Glory to God! Now we are finishing up the campaign."

Air Force Couple Distributes Booklets

"My husband is in the Air Force working on a NATO base. We come in contact with many different nationalities and many non-believers. We have had the opportunity to visit Turkish coworkers in their homeland. On our trip to Turkey we made many new friends, most of whom spoke little, if any, English. We look forward to sharing the gospel with them with the aid of these booklets [Turkish How to Know God]."

Recommitted Herself to the Lord

"Thank you for your promptness in sending the [Watson Goodman] memorial video. Sad to say, my VCR was not working when I received the tape, so it has been sitting here in my office. I finally had the VCR fixed. About a week ago, I was having trouble sleeping because I didn't feel well. I remembered the video, so I decided to watch it—until 2:00 a.m.! I was touched and impressed by the simplicity and humility of everyone involved—a far cry from most of the fare on Christian T.V. Jesus was certainly glorified!

"Mrs. Goodman was such an inspiration in singing to the Lord, after such a great loss. I cried, I rejoiced, and then I recommitted myself to the Lord. Brother Goodman and his family have inspired me to be used even more and more each day to the glory of God...."
