WMP Part of the Action
"The church I attend continues to grow and
now has members from 28 nations. Last Saturday we had a large meeting to try to understand how we can better serve them. At the
meeting I had a WMP display. It was very well received, and I had some very excited Africans
when they were given Scripture booklets in their own language AND dialect.
"The Scripture booklets I have left are turning
into a very valuable source. I am starting to receive interest like I have never seen before!... In recent years we have
planted five churches in the city, all in the middle-class areas, but now we are to take the battle into
a Muslim area. Already, by the grace and favor of the Lord, we have access into twelve schools
in the area with a sports pursuits team teaching football. All I know is that WMP is a part of
what is happening in my
church."

Booklet Kept After Him for Four Years
"Four years ago I received a booklet from the
hands of Brother Walter Paz. The booklet was
called Who Am I That a King Would Die in My Place? At the time I received this
booklet, I
tossed it in the trash, but the next day I drove past the place where I had
tossed it, and there was
that booklet. I didn't think anything of it, but I stuck it in the glove box. A
month later I found it
and started to read it, but I didn't like it because it gave me the creeps and
made my whole body
feel hot.
"Then I tried to get rid of that little booklet.
So I handed it to a friend who was in prison. To my
surprise, at the time I gave that booklet to my friend, he accepted Christ, but
I didn't. When this
friend of mine spoke to me of how he had accepted Christ through this booklet, I
didn't have any
more to do with my friend other than to tell him to pray for me. And so it was
that on the 1st of
February of this year I accepted the Lord through this little booklet.
"The truth is that this booklet has an extraordinary power. I was converted
to the Lord after this
booklet kept after me for four years. Brothers, the work that you are
doing for the Lord is not in
vain."

Inmate Saved Through Coloring Book
"In March we sent for some coloring books for the
Kalamazoo County Jail ministry, women's division. One of the women asked for one to pass the time. She had been
interested in God but hadn't understood the gospel. As she read the coloring book, God spoke to her
heart and helped her to understand. She prayed to receive Jesus as her Savior. Praise the
Lord!"

Elderly Pay Kids to Read Booklets to Them
"One way or another, we have been receiving your
booklets here in Guatemala. Church groups,
tourists, any friend who comes here, have to call you and get literature to
bring for our work in
Guatemala.
"The New Testament study has been a valuable tool
for our ministry. Here are some of the ways
it is used: as sermon outlines to preach, ladies groups, before-church Bible
studies, as a study
guide for new converts, youth group activities, and many more ways.
"We are also very fond of all of your Quiche
language booklets, for the Quiche is one of the larger areas of our work. People who can't read, the elderly and the mature
Christian Quiche, all
give their grandchildren a dime or ask a neighbor to read what the booklet says.
They are so
attractive.
"All my friends tell me you quickly send the
material, no questions asked. Thank you very much
for the contribution you readily make towards the enlargement and understanding
of the
kingdom of
God."
