Warmly Received by Jewish Backpackers
"The testimony I wish to share with you is that some of my
friends in New Zealand are receiving Jewish backpackers into their homes as
guests, and they are finding tremendous opportunities to share the gospel with
them. Just yesterday one friend called and told how she (a retired teacher) sat
up until after 2 a.m. sharing about Jesus with a young Israeli lawyer who was a
guest in her home. His questions were very searching, but she had no Hebrew
literature to give him. I had given her a Hebrew Bible and dictionary, which
have been greatly used. The Wings Over Zion in English is good, but the Hebrew
Wings Over Zion for this situation is even better. This little booklet is
greatly enjoyed by the Jewish people and is warmly received. So, if you could
please help me with 300 copies, I'd be most
grateful."

Liberated from a Hopeless Life
"Though I was born and brought up in a Christian family, I did not have a
steady walk with the
Lord. I led my life according to worldly fashion without any inclination towards
religious
activities. Eventually I lost my inner peace and happiness, which left me
desolate and
disillusioned with life.
"As I walked down the street, I happened to meet a pastor who gave me a
gospel booklet, How
to Know God. After reading the booklet, I felt peace and happiness in my mind.
Again I
approached the servant of God. He explained to me God's Word in the book. I
understood the
Lord's unchanging love for me. With a penitent heart, I accepted Jesus as my
personal Savior
and was baptized in water as a public testimony of my faith.
"I was content to lead a happy life with my Lord, who had liberated me from
my hopeless life.
As I walked closer to God, the desire to serve Him filled my heart. I expressed
my desire to study
God's Word and soon doors were opened for me through constant prayers. Before
long I was
enrolled in a Bible college to be equipped in His Word. My longing is to fulfill
the Great
Commission of Jesus Christ in this generation.
"To reach the unreached of India with the gospel of Jesus Christ, I serve
the Lord as an
evangelist. Besides planting churches, I am distributing tracts, preaching in
open-air meetings,
holding prayer fellowships, and visiting houses to share the gospel. The Lord is
blessing my
ministry and changing lives with His abundant
love."

Eager to Help
"I travel on the train a lot, and all the time I meet persons who don't
know Jesus. I tell my
testimony of how I returned to God. I speak with them from the Bible, and when I
have to go, I give them a little booklet that I've received from you. Almost all
the time they are very glad. Sometimes I meet people—but very rarely—who
don't want to hear about Jesus and about repentance. But generally the people
listen and they ask questions.... I just wanted to assure you that even if you
can't see from there, God uses these booklets to help the ones who don't know
Him.
"There are not enough words to explain to you and to thank you for what you
are doing there...."

Learning How to Live
"I am writing to let you know that I've enjoyed your Datebook. It has shown
me a lot about life
and what I need to do when I get out of prison. I've learned a lot about the
Word and how I
should live through the daily Scriptures."

Prays Over Booklets
"I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the Bible studies
and the Scripture
booklets you have sent to me. I especially like the booklet, The Way to God. It
is outstanding. I
pray over them before I give them
out."
