JESUS'
COMING TO EARTH AS A BABY put into motion God's eternal plan to restore
mankind to fellowship with his Creator. As Jesus grew into manhood and began to
show the Father's love and mercy through words and deeds, God confirmed His
purpose and plan. This was His Son, and His message was from the Father. Hear
Him! From a Judean mountaintop 2,000 years ago to the remotest part of the world
today, God's message is still the same: Hear Him! How can they hear or
know the message? WMP Scripture booklets are "little preachers,"
taking this word to the world. At this season of giving, WMP offers some
exciting opportunities for you to be involved in helping the world hear His
words.

Idea #1 - Send a Gift to a Prisoner
While in prison," wrote Joe, an inmate in Florida, "I was given a Scripture-text
Datebook by another inmate. Reading the Scriptures in the Datebook
got me to read the Bible, and I have asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart
and be my Savior. . . ." A unique part of the ministry of World
Missionary Press is the Scripture-text Datebook. For each day of the year
there is a Scripture verse to speak to the heart, assuring readers that God has
not forgotten them and that His word is for all, no matter the circumstances.
This year 800,000 Datebooks will be sent to chaplains, inmates, prison
ministries, and churches that have requested them. Locked away and often alone
for hours on end, prisoners find comfort and hope in words such as those from
Jeremiah for January 2, 2011: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting
love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you." You can
"visit those in prison" by providing for the cost to give Datebooks
with 365 verses of hope and love to those in a dark place.

Idea #2 - A Roll of Paper
As a WMP press operator stands beside the giant Robertson-King web press, he
monitors the printed pages, looking for inconsistencies in print, smudged ink,
faulty registration, etc. These are things that determine if the page is up to
acceptable standards of quality. Taped to the side of the press are words from
Isaiah 55, reminding him that God has promised that His Word will accomplish His
purpose wherever He sends it. 
These are not just ink markings on paper. These are precious promises from God,
words of life. When the 1,500-pound roll of paper is hoisted onto the press,
it is no longer just an inventory item for a printing ministry. It becomes its
life-blood, pulsing through the rollers and taking on life-giving words which
will be carried to the farthest corners of the world. As a pastor from India
wrote, "On behalf of the lost souls, I thank you for your gift of light and
life."
Each 35-inch wide roll of paper, 12 miles in length and costing $1,076
on average, can produce the inside pages of 85,000 Scripture booklets. With
a continual supply of paper, the press can produce up to 72,000 booklets an
hour. WMP sends out God's Word in 48-page topical Scripture booklets as well
as in Bible study booklets and New Testaments. Our part is to be faithful in
putting His words on paper. He will be faithful in speaking to hearts.

Idea #3 - Salvation Coloring Books
One of the first songs we teach our children is "Jesus loves me, this I
know, for the Bible tells me so." They are nurtured by the knowledge of
that love. But millions of boys and girls have never heard those words, have
never heard of Jesus and His love. WMP's salvation coloring book, God Loves
You, tells the reader, "There is great comfort in reading, trusting,
and obeying God's Word." It tells them that God made them and how they can
live with Him in heaven forever. It teaches them how God wants them to live and
how to pray. This coloring book will soon be out of stock. The requests and
needs are many, but funds are needed to reprint.
Soon the translation of God Loves You in Burmese will be completed. Our
coordinator in Myanmar will be asking for funds to print this new tool.
Hopefully we will be able to say, "Yes, print them! The $7,500 needed is
available."
Requests for the coloring book He is Risen! also continue to grow. Now
available in twelve languages, this wonderful tool is reaching around the
globe. Children in Pakistan, Liberia, Paraguay, Mexico, Dominican Republic,
Spain, Nigeria, Brazil, Tanzania, Cuba, and Philippines are waiting to receive
their own book from God.
Years ago, soon after communism fell in Romania, WMP sent a large quantity of He
Is Risen! coloring books to orphanages there. While coloring the pages, one
roomful of children and caregivers heard a voice they had never heard before.
"Jesus died for me!" They looked around to see who had
spoken those words and found it was a little boy who had not spoken before! This
traumatized child had been so moved by the love of Jesus for him personally,
that he spoke for the first time as he was coloring the picture of Jesus dying
on the cross.
Years later, a missionary couple in Romania experienced the sadness of not
having enough material for the children in a village where they ministered. They
were thrilled to receive a shipment of coloring books, so that they could go
back and satisfy the spiritual hunger of the children who had been begging
for booklets. "Thank you," they wrote, "for making it
possible for us to be able to minister in an effective way to the little
children. Without the books we could never have reached them."

Idea #4 - New Testaments
WMP distributors along the US/Mexico border and throughout Central and South
America have come to depend on the blue Spanish New Testament available from WMP.
It includes a Basic Study Supplement, providing a Bible training course to
establish believers in truth. New policies of the Bible Society which had
granted WMP copyright permission for 27 years led WMP to seek another source.
God led to an even more accurate translation, finalized just this year, that is
available to WMP without royalty fees. The formatting of this new text is
currently in process in our Pre-press Department, and we are eagerly
anticipating the printing of Spanish New Testaments in the coming year. We
have had to say "no" to so many requests for Spanish New Testaments in
recent months, we know there will be a great demand once this new edition is
available.
[A gift of $100 will provide about 140 Spanish New Testaments with Basic
Study Supplement.]
In addition, we will need to print New Testaments in French for distributors in
French-speaking Africa. "To have God's Word to read regularly and
whenever they need comfort and instruction," wrote Joe T., "is something
most of them have never experienced due to their poverty. What a blessing
WMP is to them! I am holding back tears as I ponder this and write." The
French New Testaments provided for these Congolese believers, who are living
amid violence and suffering, will bring assurance and peace that nothing else
can provide.

Supplement; $500 will provide for 560 testaments.]

Idea #5 - Container Shipments
WMP is realizing anew the cost-effectiveness of sending as much as possible via
ship containers. Even at the most economical mailing rate, one 10-lb. box costs
about $20.00 to mail overseas on top of the average $20.00 production cost per
box. One 40-foot container full of Scripture booklets and Bible studies (4,215
boxes) costs approximately $80,000 to produce and ship - less than half the
cost otherwise. In times of extra financial caution, this is a vital fact.
Currently WMP is printing materials for container shipments for our coordinator
and several major distributors in India. Samuel T. wrote from India,
"We are in desperate need of your literature. Many of our pastors use
your literature to reach the unreached villages of India. We would love to
use your booklets Help From Above, The Amazing Life of Jesus Christ, and The
Way to God. We can use these booklets in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi,
Malayalam, and Punjabi. Please send as many as you can."
Others wait for their shipment. "I have so many labels waiting
already," wrote WMP's national coordinator Bert M. from the 
"When do you think we could expect shipment of our order?"
wrote Brother F. from South Africa. Sometimes the answer to this kind of
question is, "Just a few more weeks, and the shipment will be ready."
Sometimes the answer is, "It will be sometime next year. We are trusting
the Lord to be able to speed up production so we can send this sooner."

Update
on WMP Production
We want to report to our WMP supporters that God provided for printing an
equivalency average of 6 million Scripture booklets each month during the
fiscal year which ended September 30. How we praise God for His provision!
However, because September's contributions were $95,000 below budget, we had
to cut production to 4.4 million for the month of October. Because of our
tight financial position, we had to cancel two scheduled loads of paper and plan
for a reduced production level of 3 million in November. We had to delay
shipping containers ready to go to the Philippines, Kenya, and Tanzania. We do
not believe in going into debt, as we trust God to provide for what He
wants us to print and ship.
The need is great, and we ask you to please trust God with us for provision
to increase production so that we can at least average 6 million
per month for our 50th fiscal year. The urgent need is to actually increase
production, even to 9 million a month (we have the facility, the people, and the
equipment to do so). Many WMP coordinators have to wait for a year or more for
a container shipment to replenish the supplies of God's Word in their nations. Thank
