Demand for Spanish Booklets
NEXT GENERATION MINISTRIES in Bolivia is
focused on reaching every child in every school with a copy of The Way to
God in Spanish. In a recent report they noted, "We have distributed
5,450 copies of The Way to God in 23 schools where 3,680 received Christ
as their Savior. We thank God for this work."
What a joy to be able to send another
904,000 copies to Bolivia for the next school year! This is just one of many,
many ministries throughout Latin America waiting for WMP materials. Our most
recent Spanish production run was the largest single Spanish schedule in WMP
history. It called for 17,806,235 booklets and included 6,195,420 copies of El
Camino a Dios (The Way to God).
From this printing, 40-ft.
containers will be supplied for Equador, Chile, Venezuela, and Colombia.
In addition, eight 20-ft containers will be filled for countries such as
Cuba, Peru, Nicaragua, Argentina, and Dominican Republic. Other
shipments will be
going to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Panama. This marks
the greatest number of large shipments on a single production schedule at one
time, emphasizing again just how great is the demand for WMP booklets in that
part of the world.
Many of these major shipments will
include a supply of Spanish New Testaments. These New Testaments are vital to
the establishment of new believers in areas where Bibles and New Testaments
are very hard to obtain due to cost or availability. In the remotest areas of
Peru or Mexico, believers hunger to learn more of the God they have come to know
as Savior. They will read from the Gospel of John about the peace God has for
them. They will learn from the Epistle of Peter to expect and rejoice in
suffering for Christ's sake. They will read in Revelation of the joy and victory
that awaits all who truly trust in the Lord. Such passages and promises are food
for the soul, meat by which to grow strong and healthy.
As each container shipment is loaded, the
WMP staff gathers to pray 
over
the boxes, the driver, and the truck - that God would protect these precious
booklets and that each item would find the heart He has prepared to receive it.
More than 17 million items will be distributed throughout the Spanish-speaking
world in the coming months. And we have His promise that His Word will do the
work He has planned for it to do!

Joy" in Moscow!
WMP's national coordinator for Russia,
Alex B., was thrilled to receive a container from World Missionary Press holding
2,270 boxes (10.5 tons) filled with 896,600 Scripture booklets, Bible study
booklets, and salvation coloring books.
He and his team of colleagues will
strive to systematically distribute these gospel materials in various parts of
Russia, to people who are willing to receive and read them. As people open the
booklets and begin reading, the Holy Spirit can touch their minds and hearts and
lead them to forgiveness and eternal life in Jesus. What awesome
potential for eternal good!
When Alex received the go-ahead from
WMP to print 10,000 Russian New Testaments with Psalms and Proverbs, a quality
cover, and "good illustrations," he responded: "Your e-mail for
us it is uncountable joy! Our hearts are overwhelmed by joy!"
