THE BIRTH OF A CHILD IN BETHLEHEM so long ago was the fulfillment of God's promise through the prophet Isaiah. God would dwell with man in the person of His Son. God, the Creator, the eternal and omnipotent One, set aside His glory and lived with man. He walked among men and knew their sorrow. He carried their sins to the cross and purchased their redemption through His blood. He arose from the dead and returned to His Father in heaven where He waits for believers who will be with Him forever.
--In response to His great love gift to us, let us express our love in return-perhaps through these gift ideas-that others may come to know Him, whom to know is life eternal.

Gift Idea #1:
Salvation Coloring Books
--"Our prayers have been answered!" In jubilation, Tanneken Fros, missionary to Mozambique, held up a copy of the coloring book God Loves You in Portuguese. "This is a tool, totally complete. You are discipling a nation with these materials." In a nation that has so little Christian material, these coloring books will teach children and adults about the one true God who loves them. A supply of over 22,000 copies will be included in a new shipment of Scripture books for Mozambique. Rose Goodman's gift to the children of the world continues by assuring them that "there is great comfort in reading, trusting, and obeying God's Word." The God Loves You coloring book will also be reprinted in English as we are able financially.
--He Is Risen! coloring books are greatly appreciated as
well wherever they are used to tell the wonderful story of Jesus. Brother George of Sail of Hope Ministries has requested 4,000 copies in Russian for distribution to needy Russian orphans. Howard and Helen Toombs of Pioneer Outreach Ministries have found wonderful response to He Is Risen! along the Amazon River and in remote areas of Ecuador and Peru.

--Men and women as well as children eagerly take a book, or even one page, to color, to read, to follow along as the wondrous story is told.
--[Every 1,000 salvation coloring books cost just $190 to print. A gift of $100 will provide 526 salvation coloring books for precious children in their own language.]

Gift Idea #2:
A Roll of Paper
--The largest single expense in the yearly budget for World Missionary Press is paper for printing Scripture booklets. This past fiscal year, WMP budgeted $716,500 for paper and covers. Because income was above budget, we actually spent $804,702. We depend on the Lord to provide the funds to order additional truckloads. Without paper the press would stop. Without paper the binderies would stop. Without paper there would be a dwindling supply of boxes of booklets to ship. Without paper there would be no delivery of booklets to hundreds of distributors worldwide. Without paper many who learn of Jesus for the first time from a WMP Scripture booklet might never know of His love and the hope that He offers to everyone.
--So many distributors tell us that much of their ministry depends on a continuing supply of free Scripture booklets from WMP. They are willing to go and sow the seed which WMP is willing to print and send--if there is paper. A roll of paper that produces the inside pages of 80,000 Scripture booklets costs $900 on average. Many items can be purchased for $900, but very few have the potential eternal value of a roll of paper for printing God's Word in a native language. WMP will continue the vision of co-founders Watson and Rose Goodman--to give the bread of life to the people of the world in their own language--so long as there is paper for the press.
--[A roll of paper that prints the inside pages of 80,000 Scripture booklets costs about $900. Two 1,500-lb. rolls that provide for 160,000 Scripture booklets cost $1,800. A gift of $100 provides enough paper for the insides of 8,888 Scripture booklets, each containing more than 300 powerful Scripture verses.]

Gift Idea #3:
New Testaments
--Printing New Testaments in several languages is a unique part of WMP's ministry. As God provides funds, New Testaments are printed on a limited basis in Spanish, French, Arabic, Kreyol (for Haiti), and Persian-Farsi. At this time, Spanish and Arabic New Testaments are in process. Printing of 75,000 Kreyol New Testaments for Haiti is scheduled for the coming months. French New Testaments will be printed early next year as God allows.
--Several years ago, Every Home For Christ staff in Togo distributed several thousand French New Testaments from WMP to military personnel in Togo. They had an encouraging response from this distribution and feel led of the Lord to distribute another 12,000 New Testaments to the Togo military. These soldiers often are away from family and friends with long periods of empty time to fill. A New Testament that can fit in their jacket pocket is a welcome companion in those hours. In the solitary hours the Spirit of God works through His Word.
--[Cost for the 12,000 French New Testaments for military personnel in Togo is $9,840 plus shipping. A gift of $200 will provide 303 New Testaments. Spanish New Testaments cost 75 cents each-a gift of $100 will provide 133 New Testaments.]

Gift Idea #4:
Overseas Printings
--In a Southeast Asian country there is much political resistance to the gospel. Yet there is a growing missions-minded Church. WMP provides for printing of Scripture booklets to effectively assist believers in reaching the ethnically diverse population of almost 50 million people.
--Printings of Scripture booklets and Bible-study booklets in Indonesia, India, and Mongolia will continue as funds are available. With the goal of producing six million booklets (equivalency) in-plant and one million overseas per month, WMP seeks to use every opportunity to take the Word to the world.
--[A $500 gift will print 12,500 copies of Help From Above. An investment of $1,000 will provide 25,000 Scripture booklets.]

Gift Idea #5:
Bible Studies for Discipleship
--WMP produces Bible-study booklets in various languages for use in small group studies, discipleship of new believers, and to encourage deeper spiritual understanding of God's teachings. As workers lead people to the Lord or as they encounter new believers, it is important to be able to put Bible-study resources into their hands.
--World Missionary Press prints A Bible Study on Genesis, Meditations in the Psalms, A Bible Study on Matthew, A Bible Study on John, A Bible Study on Romans, and A Bible Study on Revelation. Requests for these materials are continuing and increasing as spiritual warfare around the world intensifies.
--[WMP's pocket-size "Joy" Bible studies range in length from 64 to 112 pages. For just pennies you can provide a dynamic discipleship tool for someone eager to study God's Word (812 to 15 cents). A gift of $100 will pay for the production of 1,000 copies of the 80-page Bible Study on John for new believers.]
